Please read and understand the following important terms before purchasing goods from our website. 


The website located at www.intersport.co.uk (the ?website?) is operated by Sportswise (Borders) Ltd whose registered address is Unit 8, Cavalry Business Park, Peebles, EH45 9BU (Registered company number SC064379) (?Sportswise?/?we?/?us?/?our?) and any contracts formed in relation to purchases made by you from the website will be between Sportswise and you. Sportswise uses the website under licence from INTERSPORT UK LIMITED:  all transactions via the website are between you and Sportswise rather than INTERSPORT UK LIMITED (who shall have no liability in relation to such transactions). 

These terms and conditions set out the basis on which you can use our website and place orders. By ordering goods from the website you are deemed to have understood and accepted these terms. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before ordering any goods from the website. If you don't understand these terms and conditions or have any questions about any orders you have placed via this website and want to talk to us about it, please contact us by email or telephone (see contact details below).

If you buy goods on our site you agree to be legally bound by these terms and conditions and when buying any goods you also agree to be legally bound by any extra terms which may add to, or replace some of these terms and conditions. This may happen for a number of reasons including security, legal or regulatory reasons.  We will contact you to let you know if we intend to do this before accepting any order you may place on the website.


Below, we set out how a legally binding contract between you and us is made.

You place an order on our website when you click ?pay? at the end of the checkout process. Please read and check your order carefully before submitting it. However, if you need to correct any errors you can do so before submitting it to us.

We may contact you to say that we do not accept your order. This is typically for the following reasons:

- the goods are unavailable

- we cannot authorise your payment

- you are not allowed to buy the goods from us

- we are not allowed to sell the goods to you

- there has been a mistake on the pricing or description of the goods

We will only accept your order when we email you to confirm this (Confirmation Email). At this point:

- a legally binding contract will be in place between you and us, and

- we will dispatch the goods to you.


A description of the main characteristics of the goods can be found on the product pages of the website. Prices for the goods on the website appear on the product pages and include all applicable UK taxes. Prices may vary and may only be available for limited periods. All prices and offers are subject to availability and may be withdrawn or amended at our discretion.

The Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives you certain legal rights (also known as ?statutory rights?), for example, the goods:

- are of satisfactory quality

- are fit for purpose

- match the description, sample or model, and

- are installed properly (if we install any goods)

We must provide you with goods that comply with your legal rights.

While we try to make sure that the colours of our goods are displayed accurately on the site, the actual colours that you see on your computer may vary depending on the monitor that you use.

Nothing in these terms and conditions affects your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (also known as ?statutory rights?). You may also have other rights in law.


The personal information you provide to Sportswise from which you can be identified is stored securely and confidentially and is processed in accordance with this privacy policy. We gather this information to allow us to process your registration (if you open an account with us via this website), process any orders you may make and provide the goods requested. The relevant information is then used by us, our agents and sub-contractors to communicate with you on any matter relating to any order you place with us, your account (if any is opened with us) and the provision of the goods in general.  Other than as described above Sportswise will not pass on any of your information to any third parties other than INTERSPORT UK LIMITED as licensor of the website. Sportswise takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect against unlawful or unauthorised processing of your personal information. Sportswise does not have access to your financial information, this information is securely transferred directly to their card processing agents who process it on Sportswise?s instructions. The website can recognise past users by using cookies. Cookies personalise your visits to the website to meet your individual preferences. These cookies can be disabled by adjusting your internet settings.

Customers placing orders via the website can pay for items as they are ordered by credit card, debit card or PayPal. 

We will do all that we reasonably can to ensure that all of the information you give us when paying for the goods is secure by using an encrypted secure payment mechanism. However, in the absence of negligence on our part we will not be legally responsible to you for any loss that you may suffer if a third party gains unauthorised access to any information that you give us.

Your credit card or debit card will only be charged when the goods are dispatched.

All payments by credit card or debit card need to be authorised by the relevant card issuer. We may also need to use extra security steps. 

If your payment is not received by us and you have already received the goods, you:

- must pay for such goods within 30 days , or

- must return them to us as soon as possible. If so, you must keep the goods in your possession, take reasonable care of them (including ensuring that you follow any instructions or manuals given with the goods) and not use them before you return them to us.

If you do not return any goods (such as where you have not paid for them) we may collect the goods from you at your expense. We will try to contact you to let you know if we intend to do this.

Nothing in this clause affects your legal rights to cancel the contract during the ?cooling off? period referred to in these terms and conditions.

The price of the goods:

- is in pounds sterling (?)(GBP)

- includes VAT at the applicable rate

- does not include the cost of delivering the goods (see below for further details about delivery).


Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 customers have the right to cancel an order with Sportswise, you have the right to cancel your order up to the end of the fourteenth day following the day you have received your order. Exceptions apply to orders for personalised items and goods made to order which cannot be cancelled by you once you have received a Confirmation Email that your order has been received as such items may already be in production as a result of your order. If you wish to cancel your order please inform us by letter or e-mail with details of your cancellation. If you have received the products please parcel these back up and return them to us in a sellable condition. We will credit the cost of the cancelled products back to you.  

Without undue delay after you contact us to cancel your order (and in any event within any time period specified in law, typically 14 days after we receive the goods back from you) we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us). If you are cancelling the order and returning the goods because of a defect or the goods were not as described, we will also refund any reasonable costs that you incur in returning the goods to us. Any refunds will be made on the debit card or the credit card which you used to pay for the goods.

If the goods have already been delivered to you, you must return them to us as soon as possible. You have a legal duty to keep the goods in your possession, to take reasonable care of them and not to use them before you return them to us. If the value of the goods is less than it was because you have handled them beyond what is necessary (such as to see the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods) then we may charge you an appropriate amount and take that amount from what we owe you. This might happen because you start to use the goods. Unless you are returning the goods because of a defect or the goods were not as described, you are responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us.

Returns should be sent to, Returns Department, Sportswise, Unit 8, Cavalry Business Park, Peebles, EH45 9BU. Once a refund has been issued you will receive a confirmation e-mail detailing the amount that has been refunded and the item(s) Sportswise has received back. Sportswise will transfer the money back to you using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase.


Delivery costs are additional to the displayed price and vary depending on the delivery service you select. Delivery charges will be confirmed to you before your order is placed and payment taken so that you have the opportunity to change your mind.  If your order is particularly heavy or bulky it may be subject to extra delivery charges. If your order is subject to additional delivery charges you will be advised of the additional cost before delivery of your order begins. You may cancel your order if you do not wish to pay any additional delivery costs. Other than on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays Sportswise aims to despatch all orders on the day of order if placed by 1pm. Delivery times depend on the delivery serviced selected and the type of goods ordered. Sportswise can only deliver goods within the UK and does not sell goods for delivery outside the UK. Customers in the Channel Islands are exempt from VAT on both goods and shipping charges if both the billing address and the delivery address are within the Channel Islands.


All imagery used on the website and promotional material ? including e-mail campaigns and printed adverts are the property of Sportswise or licensed to Sportswise by third party brand owners and may not be reproduced wholly or in part, without the express permission of Sportswise.


To the fullest extent permitted by law, if Sportswise fails to comply with these terms and conditions Sportswise will only be liable to you for the purchase price of the goods and any proven direct losses you suffer as result of Sportswise?s failure to comply with these terms and conditions (whether arising in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise) but not any indirect or consequential losses.. For the avoidance of doubt, this paragraph does not limit or exclude Sportswise?s liability in respect of death or personal injury caused by its negligence.

Sportswise reserves the right to revise and amend these terms and conditions from time to time. You will be subject to the terms and conditions that are in force at the time you order the goods from Intersport.co.uk.

If Sportswise makes any changes to its terms and conditions we will notify you before accepting your order and taking any payment from you so that you have the opportunity to change your mind.


If Sportswise and you enter into a contract in accordance with these terms and conditions no one else has any right to enforce that contract.


Sportswise aims to provide you with quality goods and services. We aim to deal with negative feedback and complaints regarding our goods and services as quickly and effectively as possible. Please e-mail our customer services department or call us on using the contact details referred to above to allow us to deal with your complaint. To assist us with this please detail all aspects of the complaint, your order number and contact details.

We will try to resolve any disputes with you quickly and efficiently. If you and we cannot resolve a dispute using our internal complaint handling procedure, we will let you know that we cannot settle the dispute with you.

If you want to take court proceedings, the relevant courts of the United Kingdom will have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to this contract.

Relevant United Kingdom law will apply to this contract.
